Simply Voting’s first customer was the McGill University Student’s Union and since 2003, our business has expanded to compass a wide array of student unions, educational institutions, faculty associations, and more. Simply Voting can be configured to allow single-sign-on, meaning voters can log into the system and cast their ballot using their institutional login credentials, bypassing the need to send out voting credentials via email. Using our voter segmentation feature you can customize your ballots based on a voter’s department, major, work site, or student year to present only ballot items relevant to their specific group. For larger institutions where multiple election administrators need to have access to the system, you can use usergroups to restrict election visibility to only those who are administrators for that group.

Overlapping Elections
You can run several elections independently of each other, even simultaneously. If someone is eligible to vote in multiple ballots they will be given the opportunity to vote in each one.
Segmentation of Voters
We provide a system to restrict any question on the ballot to a segment of your eligible voters.
Weighted Votes
For shareholder elections or similar situations, the number of shares or vote weight may be specified for each eligible voter. Election results tally the total vote weights exercised for each option.
